Trail makers

Herenga ā Nuku provides support to trail groups that create public access to the outdoors, and build or maintain tracks and trails. Below is some of the support we can offer. For more advice or support contact your regional field advisor.

Join the community

Herenga ā Nuku facilitates a nationwide network of track-building groups and trusts. The network meets via video conferencing 4 times per year.

Enhanced Access Grants

Herenga ā Nuku administers a contestable fund to support projects that enhance access to the outdoors. This fund is known as the Enhanced Access Fund.
