It can take years to resolve some disputes

Herenga ā Nuku opened 17 access dispute cases during the year. Two-thirds of the access dispute cases involved access issues over unformed legal roads.

In June 2022 we signed a memorandum of understanding to contribute to the new Plan My Walk app developed by the NZ Mountain Safety Council.
